For up-to-date information about the La Tuna Canyon Fire, the below interactive map shows fire zone, evacuation areas, evacuation centers, etc. While we are fortunate that the fire is not threatening our canyon, it is a good reminder to stay vigilant, clear your brush around your homes, and be prepared.
Be safe and stay cool.
Children are encouraged to join parents. We realize with sport schedules it can be difficult, but please try.
If you walk the fire roads please consider taking a trash bag and collecting litter along the way. Together we can keep the canyon one of real gems of the Jewel City.

On Sunday, April 2nd from 10:00am until 4:00pm, the Eagle Rock Community Garden and Art Park will be having their 5th Annual Open House and Plant Sale. Should be a great family event and a good way to get your garden going this spring.

Now that we are settled in to the new year, its time for everyone to send in your annual membership dues. We depend on these dues to fund such things as the Annual Meeting and Pancake Breakfast and to fight the expansion of the landfill. This Saturday, September 17, 2016, from 8:00am to 11:00am, come to Glenoaks Park to enjoy a free pancake breakfast courtesy of GOCHA. Its a fun way to hang out with friends and meet some of your neighbors. And, as an extra bonus, this year, our new GOCHA President, Rick Marquis, will be manning the griddle.

The Canyon's Disaster Preparedness Program Come listen to Isabel Meyer discuss the details of the Canyon's Disaster Preparedness Program. The Glendale Fire Department and Glendale Police Department will also be present to discuss how their efforts will dovetail with the Canyon's in the event of a fire or natural disaster.
The Scholl Canyon Landfill City Manager Scott Ochoa and Council Member Vartan Gharpetian have graciously offered to speak at our meeting to share with us the current status of affairs with the landfill.
