How to Be Elected to the GOCHA Board of Directors

Candidates can be nominated in three ways, and the election will take place at the Annual Meeting on September 11, 2024.

1.  Article IV, Section 12 (a) of the GOCHA Bylaws states “the directors whose terms are not expiring shall serve as a Nominating Committee to select qualified candidates for election to the Board.” This year five incumbents are willing to serve a three-year term. They are Tracy Lentz, Rick Marquis, Mark Rothenberg, Chris Kashishyan, and Audry Zarokian.

2.  Section 12 (b) also states that Voting Members in good standing “may nominate candidates for directors by a petition, signed by at least six (6) Voting Members and containing the consent of each person so nominated to act as a director, submitted to the president at least two (2) weeks prior to the election.”

3,  Section 12 (c) states, “If there is a meeting of members to elect Directors, any member present at the meeting in person or by proxy may place names nomination.
